Boxing practice with my friend Peter, Gbarnga, Liberia, West Africa, June 2021

People-Driven

Connections with other individuals form the deepest source of meaning available to us as humans.

I value raw moments in life over anything else. Ones that allow us to feel free without the strings of the chaotic world. From working as an EMT, to helping change a mindset of youth in West Africa, I've come to learn how incredible human connections can be.

I first picked a camera (that was more than my phone) a few years ago as a way to better document trips that my parents and I went on. I hardly knew what any of the settings meant, but remember the freedom I felt when being able to pictures of anything and everything I was able to (and I mean EVERYTHING.)

Photography since the start of the COVID pandemic has emerged as a creative outlet for me - one where I don't feel the constrains of equations from my college engineering classes, or the policy/procudes that come with patient EMS care. Today I bring a camera with me almost everywhere I go, because you never know what adventure is right around the corner.
